When is the race taking place?
The 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX will run over three consecutive days from Friday, 25 September 2020 until Sunday, 29 September 2020. Besides, a pit lane walk will also be offered on Thursday, 24 September .
What happens on each of the race days?

Ticket holders will be able to not only attend the races, but also enjoy a great entertainment programme in the Olympic Park, as well as visit the F1 FanZone where official FORMULA 1 teams’ and Sochi Autodrom merchandise will be sold.
Where is the race taking place?
The 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX will take place in Sochi at Sochi Autodrom, which is located in Imeretinskaya Lowland of Adler district and is a part of the Olympic Park.
What do the different ticket categories mean?
The different ticket categories represent the variation that exists between seats for a particular location, for example, differences such as quality of view and the proximity of such facilities, as entertainment or merchandise outlets. Each location is unique and as such not all ticket categories will be the same. For example, in some areas, fans will be able to witness the incredible breaking power of the FORMULA 1 cars, whilst in other areas you will be able to appreciate their amazing speed and spectacular overtaking. Please ensure you carefully review seating maps before making your purchase.
What days of the race weekend are the tickets valid for?
4-Day Ticket entitles its holder to attend the events as part of The 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX from 24 September till 27 September 2020, as well as a public pit lane walk on 24 September 2020.
What does a general admission ticket mean?
General Admission Ticket is a ticket type used to describe an open concourse where ticket holders are admitted to a designated area rather than given a specific seat. General Admission ticket holders will be able to watch the race from the concourse area of the Bolshoy Ice Dome.

General Admission Ticket entitles its holder to attend the events as part of The 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX from 25 September till 27 September 2020.
What is an e-ticket?
When you choose to order using e-tickets you will be able to download and print them by accessing the My Tickets section of your account on f1.sochiautodrom.ru. E-tickets will be accepted by the venue as a genuine, original ticket.
E-tickets will be available for download in your personal account on f1.sochiautodrom.ru .
When will my ticket appear in my personal account?
E-tickets will be available for download and print closer to the date of the event.
More precise information will be published on f1.sochiautodrom.ru and emailed to you.
Is my e-ticket a 'real' ticket and do I need to exchange it for a real one?
An e-ticket will be accepted by the venue as a genuine, original ticket and it is not required to exchange it for a ticket on ticket stock.
Are the tickets non-transferable?
No, the tickets for the event are not non-transferable. However, if any tickets are lost or damaged in a way that makes their barcodes unreadable, the re-print of the tickets is possible only with the buyer of the tickets or the person to whom the tickets are issued present.
What happens if I print more than one copy of my e-ticket or allow it to be copied by someone else?
You should treat your e-ticket like any other ticket and keep it safe. Only the first copy of any ticket presented at the venue will permit access. Customers with subsequent copies will be turned away
Will my seats be covered?
When booking, Sochi Autodrom reminds all ticket holders that no location at the Grand Prix venue offers guaranteed protection from inclement weather. It is strongly advised that all ticket holders have sunscreen and wear protective clothing.
Is free travel on public transport included in the ticket price?
The venue is 30 km away from the Sochi city center and 10 km away from the international airport. Please use suburban trains or municipal buses to get to the “Imeretinskiy Kurort/Olympic Park” station, located in the close proximity to the venue. The access of the private vehicles to the event area is restricted during the Grand Prix days, usage of the public transport is strongly recommended. Further information on the transport routes and schedules will be available later. Please follow the updates on our website.
Can anyone access the F1 Fanzone?
Any ticket holder may visit the F1 Fanzone, located near the Main Grandstand and at the Central Square of the Olympic Park. From here, ticket holders will also be able to purchase Official FORMULA 1 Teams’ and Sochi Autodrom merchandise, as well as try their hand at FORMULA 1 simulators.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be distributed/available for collection from August 2020.

I have selected E-ticket. How do I receive my tickets?
If you have chosen to print your ticket at home, you will be able to download and print your ticket from August 2020 onwards only. In order to do so, you must log in to your account on www.f1.sochiautodrom.ru and then go to the My Tickets section. Further details will be emailed to you in the run-up to the event.
What do I need to print an e-ticket?
Any inkjet or laser printer, color, or black and white, with a resolution of 300dpi or greater may be used to print your tickets. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 6.0.1 or higher to open your ticket, which you can download free at www.adobe.com. Please print on plain A4 paper at the highest quality available on your printer. Please do not rescale your ticket. Printing should be done at 100%.
What if I move address or my email changes after I purchase my tickets?
If you move address or your email changes between the time you purchased tickets and the time they are scheduled to be delivered, please ensure that you update your details via the Sochi Autodrom Call Centre on:

I would like my tickets mailed to me overseas. Is this possible?
According to the personal data protection law (No.152-FZ as amended in 2018), international delivery is unavailable.
You can purchase tickets on the Sochi Autodrom official website at f1.sochiautodrom.ru by choosing the "e-ticket" option.
Where can I collect my tickets from?
From August 2020, tickets will be available for collection from selected Box Offices across Russia. Full details of available ticket collection points will be published on f1.sochiautodrom.ru

To encourage ticket security, tickets may only be collected by the original ticket customer, who must be able to present the Ticket Purchase Confirmation in addition to his/her passport or by the representative of the original ticket customer, who must be able to present the notarized power of attorney, the Ticket Purchase Confirmation in addition to his/her passport and a copy of original ticket customer`s passport.
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased through the following authorised sales channels:

The terms of purchase and use of tickets for this event are set out in the Terms and Conditions (the Offer).
Failure to purchase tickets from an authorised channel may result in tickets being cancelled and access to 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX being denied.
We are committed to providing an accessible race for all customers. If a Ticket Customer is found to be in breach of the conditions, all tickets purchased under their account may be cancelled and no monies returned to the account holder.
What is the maximum number of tickets that I can purchase as an individual?
To ensure as many people as possible have equal access to purchase tickets to the FORMULA 1 2018 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX, a limit of ten (10) tickets will apply per person.
Tickets allocated in excess of the specified limit may be cancelled with no compensation offered. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions (the Offer) for more details.
Do children need tickets?
Yes, all Ticket Holders regardless of age must be in possession of a valid ticket, excepting Infants of three (3) years of age and younger who are permitted to attend the race free of charge so long as they do not take up a dedicated seat. If you require a seat for your infant you will be required to purchase a ticket for them for the seat they will occupy. Persons under the age of 18 years may only attend the Event when accompanied by adults (relatives, guardians).

In order to confirm a child’s age it may be required to demonstrate the child’s Birth Certificate upon entry to the Event.
Are there child tickets available?
Child tickets are available for purchase in all Grandstands.
Children must be aged between 3 – 12 years at the time of the event* and a maximum of 2 child tickets will be allowed for every 1 adult ticket.

Can I purchase tickets from overseas?
Yes, anyone can register on f1.sochiautodrom.ru and purchase tickets, no matter which country you are located in.
How do I make a wheelchair or special access booking?
The Sochi Autodrom is committed to making the 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX an accessible event for all. To purchase an assigned seat that is equipped for individuals with an impairment, please go to one of the Authorised Box Offices or contact the Sochi Autodrom Call Centre:

Sochi Autodrom warns all customers that all tickets are subject to availability and to book early.
Why is there a time limit for my purchase?
In order to maintain accessibility, a time limit has been set to ensure as many fans are able to purchase tickets. If you do not purchase your tickets within the allocated time (40 minutes), your seats from your basket will be released back for general sale.
Will the Box offices be open on the Grand Prix ticket sales launch day?
Yes. A full list of Authorised Ticket Offices is published on the Sochi Autordrom website f1.sochiautodrom.ru. Additionally, the Main Ticket Box Office at the Grand Prix venue will commence selling tickets at the venue on 17 September 2020 (subject to availability).
How do I change my details after I have registered?

Official FORMULA 1 teams’ and Sochi Autodrom merchandise will be available for sale from within the F1 FanZone during the race weekend. There is also a specilised outlet located on the 2nd floor of the Sochi International Airport.
Where can I get information about the Sochi Autodrom Lounge tickets?

Is there any reason why I should not buy tickets on the black market?
Always ensure you only ever purchase your tickets on the Sochi Autodrom official website or from authorised sales channels.
You are not recommended to buy tickets on the black market as there is a high risk of acquiring fake tickets.

Sochi Autodrom will take the appropriate legal action against individuals selling 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX tickets in breach of the terms and conditions.
Can I sell tickets using online auction sites?
No. Selling or offering tickets for sale above their face value via auction sites or any other unauthorised platforms is in breach of the Terms and Conditions (the Offer). Tickets that are detected as being sold or offered for resale in breach of these conditions will be cancelled without refund or notification to the ticket customer.
Can tickets be used in a business promotion or as a prize in a competition or a draw?
Tickets cannot be used for business promotions or as part of competitions or draws unless, prior written approval has been provided by Sochi Autodrom.
I am unable to attend the race, can I get a refund?
As a condition of sale, there are no refunds except as indicated by the law of the Russian Federation or as indicated in the Terms and Conditions (the Offer).
Only the ticket customer, that is the original ticket purchaser, may request a refund for the Ticket under the following situations.
• Cancellation of the event.
• Death of the ticket holder.
• Sickness of the ticket holder, not allowing him or her to visit the event based on medical necessity.
• In other cases according to the legislation of the Russian Federation.
How can I request a refund?
To obtain a ticket refund the ticket customer must approach an Authorized Box Office (the list of which is available at the event website f1.sochiautodrom.ru) or call-center for which you must provide:
• ticket refund application with indication of bank details of the account to which the refund should be made (the form can be collected from Authorized Box Offices and may be emailed to you by contacting the Sochi Autodrom Call Centre)
• original Ticket (if available) We encourage you to keep a copy for your own personal records;
• сopy of your passport;
• your receipt and Event Ticket Purchase confirmation
• in the case of the Ticket refund being requested based on illness or death, documents which attest to this.

If you are unable to submit these documents at the Box office you may send your documents by registered mail to ООО “CTC EVENTIM RU”, at the following address: 125284, Moscow, 31A/1 Leningradskiy ave, ООО “CTC EVENTIM RU” office not later than 29 September 2020. Please state the subject of the letter as follows: “2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX ticket refund”.
Can I sell or transfer my tickets or e-tickets?
Tickets can only be resold or transferred only in accordance with the Terms and Conditions (the Offer). Please read this document carefully for further information.
What do I do if my tickets are lost, damaged or stolen?
If you lost any tickets or had them stolen, the original bank card holder will need to contact the Sochi Autodrom Call Centre prior to arriving at the venue to determine if they can be reissued.

Can I bring my family?
Yes, the 2020 FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX is a family friendly event. All customers must be in possession of a valid ticket. Infants less than three (3) years of age are permitted to attend the race free of charge so long as they do not take up a dedicated seat.
The event organiser uses its best endeavors to ensure the most comfortable viewing of the competition and spending leisure time at the venue possible.
Can I bring food and drinks with me to the race?
A ticket holder cannot bring into the venue alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks of any kind, except for refreshing drinks in 0.5 L plastic containers. Glass bottles or containers, food are not allowed into the venue.
Can I bring baby food and baby stroller with me into the Grand Prix venue?
You can bring with into the venue baby food with the volume not exceeding 1 liter per baby (including soymilk, breast milk or cow’s milk, infant formulas and sterilized water in glass containers, any other food, required for feeding children under 5 years of age).

Adults carrying baby food may be asked to present it for inspection.
Ticket holders may bring baby strollers into the venue.
What can I bring into the Grand Prix venue?
For the comfort and safety of all ticket holders, there are restrictions on what can be brought into the venue. These are outlined in the Terms and Conditions (the Offer). Sochi Autodrom encourages all ticket holders to ensure that they read these carefully before attending.

As a summary, ticket holders may not bring the following items into the venue:
• any alcohol, food, beverages, glass bottle or container, any metal flag or banner pole, any flag or banner pole longer than 1,5 meters, chairs, benches, stools, any cooler box or hamper or helium balloons;

• pets or animals (other than a guide dog used to assist a ticket holder with a disability);

• guns and offensive weapons, any item that could be used to injure others or imitate a gun or offensive weapon;

• bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller blades/skates, fireworks, laser pointers, frisbees, musical instruments and/or amplification equipment including public address systems, distress;
• signals, whistles, loud hailers, vuvuzela (for an exception of pipes and horns), electronic equipment or other broadcast equipment.


• flammable and pyrotechnical substances or articles, (except for matches, pocket lighters), including air-horns, flares, fireworks, gas tanks;

• tools and articles including self-made that are not pyrotechnical and that are used for dispersion or diffusion of different substances (pneumatic crackers);
Can I bring electronic devices (including still image cameras, mobile telephones and other handheld personal communication devices) into the venue?
Electronic devices (including still image cameras, mobile telephones and other handheld personal communication devices) are permitted within the venue unless otherwise advised, provided that any recording, data and any image, including photographic images and any still pictures derived or capable of being derived from a recording of the event, recorded, stored and/or created at the event are used for personal and non-commercial purposes only, which does not include social media.
Sochi Autodrom encourages all ticket holders to ensure that they read the Terms and Conditions (the Offer) carefully before attending the event.
Can I bring professional electronic devices into the venue?
Ticket holders must not make, create, store, record or transmit any kind of sound recording, visual footage, audio-visual footage, as well as store, record or transmit any information or other data, including official timing, results, performance, telemetry, weather or race control data of, at or in relation to the event. It is forbidden to bring into the venue any equipment that may enable the visitor to perform the aforementioned acts.

Are there lockers at the venue?
No, there are no lockers provided.
Is the level of noise during the events loud?
During the race the noise level may be very loud. It is advised to wear hearing protection during the race weekend to reduce the risk of hearing damage.
